Customer Review: Makes Me Love My Cordless Saw Again

I really like the ability to do away with cords when using power tools. This past week, I worked on fixing stairs for an uneven porch. The wood I used was firm wood such as for a deck. The saw I used is a Craftsman 7 1/4 inch C3 cordless saw. The experience was on the frustating side as while attempting both crosscut and rip cuts on that wood, the saw blade would bind and stop spinning. The cuts were uneven and in order to get the job done, I had to resort to using a jigsaw. No doubt, I was disappointed and about ready to go back to using corded saws.
Before giving up, I did some research online which brought me to the Diablo blade at Home Depot. After reading the high reviews, I thought, it's worth a try. I bought a blade, tried a cross cut on the same material. The cut turned out quite smooth -- no binding or no stopping. Pretty much the only effort required of me was just to glide the blade along. WOW! I'm impressed. Definitely a winner.
What I like:

What I dislike:
- label attached to blade (the blade I got came with a label with safety info, etc. I had to remove the label but
it was a bit gooey. The took about 20 minutes to remove and I had to use Goo Gone to remove).
I'm sure I'll be sticking to Diablo blades in the future. In fact, am looking for one to fit my 5 1/2 inch Trim Saw. This blade is fantastic.
The Diablo blade makes using my cordless saw fun again!
