Comes with interchangeable bearings to cut rabbets of different depths. Produces super smooth cuts on both surfaces of the rabbet. Can be used for joining boards or for letting in back panels. Depth of rabbet can be altered by changing bearing. 32-504, 32-524 and 32-526 can also be used as flush cutting trim bits. Wrench included. Application: Cuts all composition materials, plywood, hardwood, and soft wood. Customer Review: Great bit, loose packaging

I purchased this bit to run 1/2" by 1/2" rabbets on literally 100's of board feet of finished yellow pine stock. In doing so, I made two passes instead of trying to hog it all out at once, doubling the time of service for the bit. The bit cut smoothly and cleanly from the beginning of the job until the end.
While the packaging did allow the components to slide around inside during shipment, none were missing and the carbide cutting edge was not damaged. So while it wasn't what I expected, it did arrive in good working order. Therefore I give this the full five star rating for what it is supposed to be.
The lack of long term storage in the original packaging wasn't a problem as I store my loose router bits in Plano style fishing boxes.
